The tussle for the ownership of Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho has taken a nasty turn with the agencies involved in the drag threatening his career progress.
19 year old Iheanacho who has been surpassing expectations this seasons with his goals which is now five is currently unable to sign an extension to his City’s contract due to the tussle.
It all began last year when he terminated his deal with United State of America based player agency First Eleven Management, the company responsible for his current deal with the Citizens.
He pitched tents with UK based Stellar Group late last year but First Eleven challenged the termination with the English FA and are have dragged Stellar Group to the FA arbitration.
The agencies are about the biggest on Europe with enough money to get the best of lawyers but as the drag continues Iheanacho whose performances on the pitch merits a pay rise might have to wait a little bit longer than expected.
