Bright Edomwonyi picked up from where he left up in the league scoring a brace for Sturm Graz in their 5-1 win over Kalsdorf in a friendly game.

Edomwonyi who battled injury for the major part of last season scored his first goal for the club in the Austria league before it went on break in their 2-0 win over SV Groedig.

Against Kalsdorf he scored twice within a space of seven minutes in the 71st and 78th minute before Marvin Potzmann rounded up scoring to give them a 5-1 win.

He will be hoping to stay injury free this season in order to add to the 13 games he played in the first stanza with hope of adding to the only competitive goal he has scored for the team he joined in the summer of 2014.

Prior to joining Sturm Graz his goals tally of 9 in 15 games for Hartberg in the second division earned him a move to the top league and one of Austria’s soccer powerhouse.
