No fewer than five highly respected Nigeria Premier League stars are set to move to Lobi Stars ahead of the 2015/2016 Nigeria Premier League.
Leading the players to the Federations cup runners up is veteran David Tyakasse who is expected to join alongside King Osanga,Amodu Usman,Eneji Otekpa and Sibi Gwar.
Barring any last minute hitch the five of them are expected to arrive Makurdi next week to open talks over a transfer which if favourable to all parties involved will see them join the team.
Lobi Stars has been restructured by the state government, the owners of the team with long term serving club boss Dominic Iorfa replaced by another seasoned administrator in Mike Idoko.
They managed to recover from a poor start last season to avoid relegation to the lower league but progressed all the way to finals of the Federations cup which they lost to Akwa United.
Under the management of Mike Idoko, a minimum target of qualifying for CAF continental competition has been set for the team.
