Nigeria Under-17 defender Lukman Zakarai is ready to play the waiting game with teams interested in him while he awaits a deal from English giants Manchester City.
The 16 year old who played in all of Nigeria games at the Under-17 World cup has already turned down trial offers from Boavista,Arouca and Sporting Braga all from Portugal.
He reportedly turned down a contract offer from Sfaxien of Tunisia and owngoalnigeria.com scooped from sources close to the player that an offer from Manchester City is partly the reason he has rejected all proposals from other teams.
“No need to panic as we are in control of the situation we just need to sort out some grey areas and he will be in Manchester to sign for Manchester City,we waiting for their offer” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Zakari currently plays for Unity Academy in Kaduna and his performance for Nigeria U-17 saw him called up to the U-23 but a calf injury stopped him from making the team that lifted the Africa U-23 championship.
