Former Nigeria Under-20 forward Stanley Ohawuchi is currently the toast of Egypt top flight league with 7 goals for Wadi Degla in the 8 games he has played so far in the league.

Stanley rose to the top of the scorer’s chart after scoring his team’s lone goal in a 1-3 loss at home at Entag El Harby one goal more than Marwan Mohsen of Ismaily.

However all of the Nigerian goals have come from open play while three of the six goals scored by Mohsen have come from the spot and in two more games than the Nigerian.

25 year old Ohawuchi is reportedly a target for Egyptian giant Al-Ahly and last season scored 16 times after joining from Sliema Wanderers of Malta.

In 2011 he had a short stint in Spain where he played for Atletico Baleares in the segunda division in Spain.
