The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Friday leave the shores of South Africa where they are presently camped for Rwanda venue of the next All Africa Championship popularly referred to as CHAN.
The Eagles will depart Johannesburg on Friday around 8am local time via Air Rwanda so as to arrive Kigali early ahead of the tournament’s first game on Saturday between Rwanda and Ivory Coast.
Nigeria are grouped in group C alongside Tunisia,Niger and Guinea and will play her first game on the 18th of January against Niger Republic at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo Stadium in Kigali.
Two years ago the Super Eagles of Nigeria finished as bronze medalist at their maiden appearance at the championship which is a biennial football tournament meant for players based in their respective domestic league in Africa.
Rwanda 2016 will be the fourth edition as Ivory Coast,Sudan and South Africa hosted the other three with Kenya and Ethiopia set to host the 2018 and 2020 editions respectively.
