After battling injuries at the commencement of training for the All Africa Nations Championship which will hold in Rwanda the Super Eagles of Nigeria will campaign at the championship without any injury worries.
The team presently training at the pitch of Pretoria University have so far played two friendly games against Angola and the Ivory Coast respectively but no player picked up any knock of significance.
Ahead of their Friday departure for Rwanda the clean bill of health means the team will be aiming to winning the Championship for the first time it started in 2009.
Nigeria have only appeared once at the tournament and that was in 2014 where they finished third beating Zimbabwe in the third place match.
Past winners of the event are DR Congo,Tunisia while Libya are the defending champions but they won’t be at this year tournament after they failed to qualify for the showpiece.
