Despite the departure of Rudi Garcia, the man who gave him his breakthrough at AS Roma teen striker Sadiq Umar says he is calm over his chances of getting games.
“Am saddened by Garcia’s departure, I will miss him a lot but regarding my chances of getting games am not at all worried,am very calm and focus on doing my best in training and games to impress the new manager” He told Owngoalnigeria.com
Roma appointed Luciano Spalleti yesterday as their new manager following the sacking of Rudi Garcia and the 18 year old speaks on his first training session with the gaffer.
“It was a nice session as he is very familiar with the club and the staffs,it was fun all through and I believe it will get better as we get use to his training method and style”.
Sadiq has started the last two games for AS Roma in the La-Liga and will be hoping for his third consecutive start when Roma travel to Bologna in a week 20 serie A game.
