Tottenham Hotspur On loan Nigeria youth international Musa Yahaya made his debut for Portimonense three days ago in a friendly game against German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg ending up on the losing side.

Yahaya who joined the team a week ago was a second half substitute coming on with eleven other players but was helpless as goals from Max Kruse and Julian Draxler confined his team to defeat.

The 18 year old is on a six month loan to Portimonense from English giants Tottenham Hotspur but they are reports he has been cut loose by the team even before kicking a ball.

His agent Babawo Mohammed dispelled such notion insisting his client was heading to La-Liga side Celta Vigo only for him to end up at Portimonense.

An U-17 world cup winner with Nigeria, Yahaya has progressed through the ranks rising to the U-23 team and his move to Portugal will put him in the right position to battle for a spot in the senior national team in the nearest future.

He might make his competitive debut for 6th placed Portuguese Segunda Liga
