Super Eagles of Nigeria and Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi is satisfied with the attitude of his teammates in their 0-0 draw against Stoke City yesterday.
Iwobi who came on for Theo Walcott in the 72nd minute for his 4th appearance for Arsenal in the English Premier League took to social media to express his delight over the point gained.
“Good point, Battled Well” was his post on twitter on his official twitter handle @alexiwobi.
The nephew of former Nigeria captain Austin Okocha made his debut for Nigeria in a 0-2 friendly loss against DR Congo and made his second appearance for the team in another friendly game which Nigeria won 3-0 against Cameroon.
Highly rated within the corridors of Arsenal, he was given a new contract extension in October and earned praises from manager Arsene Wenger for his brave display in the FA cup game against Sunderland.
So far he has six appearances for Arsenal in all competitions but is yet to score a goal and they are reports he might be farmed out on loan once Arsenal injured stars are back from their injury enforced absence.
