Glo NPFL champions Enyimba FC of Aba who are representing Nigeria in the CAF champions league will play a build up match against Tanzania representatives Young Africa Sports Club (Yanga).
The friendly was confirmed by Young Africans Secretary General Jonas Tiboroha who said Enyimba had requested for a build-up match on February 5th and they have accepted the request.
“We are preparing for the match, which is very important to us. As you know, the league schedule is very tight and we won’t have time to camp outside the country. The match against Enyimba is therefore a golden opportunity” He said.
The game was made possible as Enyimba are expected to camp in Tanzania ahead of their preliminary game against Uganda Vipers Sports Club on the weekend of February 12-14 in Kampala.
Yanga who are schedule to play Cercle de Joachim of Mauritius have informed the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) about the international friendly match and asked the federation to reschedule their league game against JKT Ruvu slated for February 6.
