Former Golden Eaglet and Flying Eagles goalkepper Uche Okafor who has been on the books of Enugu Rangers since 2009 will next season play for Ifeanyi Ubah FC.

Okafor told Owngoalnigeria.com that he joined the Nnewi based outfit so as to fulfill his ambition of one day breaking into the Super Eagles.

“I can confirm to you am now a player of Ifeanyi Ubah FC and I choose to leave Enugu Rangers so as to fulfill my aim of playing for the senior national team of Nigeria” He told Owngoalnigeria.com

“I will like to thank Enugu Rangers as they have been very good to me but I just need to move on and at Ifeanyi Ubah am hopeful it will all be fine”.

Okafor was third choice goalkepper for Nigeria at the 2007 U-17 World cup keeping goal in just one game which was the last group game which Nigeria won 4-1 but at two years later at the U-20 World cup where he featured in four games for Nigeria.
