Barely six months after joining Anderlecht, one cap Nigeria international Imoh Ezekiel wants to leave the team after losing his spot in the team.
Ezekiel loves to play behind the main striker but that position is presently been occupied by Matias Suarez with Stefano Okaka preferred as the main striker.
The situation forced Ezekiel to want a move away possibly back to Al-Arabi of the UAE but Anderlecht are using their connections with Al-Arabi to frustrate his wishes.
However there is a clause in his loan deal that stipulates if he plays less than 75% of matches, Anderlecht will have to pay a compensation for decreasing the market value of the player.
20 year old Ezekiel cost Anderlecht €25,000 in loan fee and with a salary reportedly worth €1.45 a year, his goals return of one in 17 games he is clearly not proving his money worth.
Last season while on loan at Standard Liege the ex 36 Lions forward scored 6 times from the 13 games he played in the six months he spent there.
