Nigeria youth international Mustapha Abdullahi is presently in Germany undergoing trials with Arminia Bielefeld.
Owngoalnigeria gathered he has been in Germany for over a week and the 20 year old has been training with the second division Bundesliga team with hopes of earning a contract.
In the past he has been a victim of so many near disappointment seeing various deal to move abroad collapse, the latest been a move to Morocco, a deal that fell through despite reports to the contrary.
He also was in Portugal in the summer where he had trials with Portimonense but same old fate of disappointment saw the move come to nothing hence he will be hoping to make something good out of his present trial place.
Mustapha finished as runner up with the Nigeria U-17 at the Africa Youth Championship (AYC) but missed out on a chance to be at the world cup after failing the mandatory MRI scan introduced by FIFA to curb age cheat at U-17 level.
He however became a mainstay of the U-20 team two years later helping them to the AYC trophy in Senegal and the second round at the global stage before they crash out to Germany.
