Kano Pillars midfielder Godspower Aniefiok whose transfer to Etoile du Sahel was thought to be a done deal won’t join the Tunisian giants anymore.

Etoile announced in December via their website that they have signed the Nigeria U-23 star on a four and a half year deal but after failing to meet with their own part of the bargain the deal was terminated.

The Tunisian side were given a deadline for which they are to pay the agreed transfer fee before the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) of the ex-Akwa United man will be given to them.

However they failed to do so and a source close to the deal told owngoalnigeria.com that the deal is officially off.

“Aniefiok won’t be joining Etoile du Sahel, they failed to meet up with what they are suppose to do and his parent owners pulled out of the deal,it’s over he won’t be joining Etoile” He told owngoalnigeria.com

18 year old Aniefiok is now expected back in Nigeria where they are reports a return to Akwa United might be on the cards from Kano Pillars.
