Manager of Nottingham Forest Dougie Freedman has confirmed they are exploring the possibility of taking Alex Iwobi of Arsenal on loan.
Arsenal will be willing to let the 19 year old leave on loan following the return of Alexi Sanchez and a host of injured players who played a role in his been left out of the match day squad against Chelsea.
Iwobi a Nigeria international who is a nephew to former Nigeria captain Austine Jay Jay Okocha is a versatile player having filled every position from full back to striker although he is viewed as a promising forward.
Despite Forest’s transfer embargo which restricts them them to 24 players have only one slot available and Iwobi’s versatility could appeal to manager Dougie Freedman.
“I like his team attitude, his movement and speed and he intergrates that very well. He has good power and is usually efficient, he scores lots of goals.
