Super Eagles second choice goalkepper Dele Alampasu once again kept a clean sheet in the Portuguese League cup, this time around shutting out giants FC Porto.

In his second game since turning professional with second division Portuguese side Feirense, the 19 year old showed the qualities to endeared him to Nigeria national team handlers by helping his team to a 2-0 win.

Although he is yet to make his debut in the league his performances for Feirense in the cup game showed he isn’t far away from playing in the league as he also kept a clean sheet against Famalicao.

The clean sheet over mighty FC Porto will further pushed him close to making his debut and he wasn’t the only Nigerian in the game as one cap Super Eagles forward Sunday Emmanuel was on for Feirense although he was substituted .

It was an historic win for the team owned by Nigeria’s Kunle Soname as this is the first time they are beating FC Porto in their history.
