19 year old Nigeria central defender Chidozie Collins Awaziem made his first team bow for Portuguese giants FC Porto playing the entire duration of their 0-2 loss to Feirense.

Awaziem was booked in the 89th minute and although he will be pleased to have been recognised by the first team at Porto following his fine form for the reserves but as a part of a back four that conceded twice he will however be sad.

He is partly the reason why Porto’s reserve team are presently reserve team who are playing in the second division are currently top of the league as he has made 22 appearances and scored once.

However the only sour side of his game is the rate at which he gets booked as he has so far been issued 8 yellow cards in all competition this season with 7 coming in the league.

In their 5-2 win over Vitoria Guimares he was sent off for the first time in his career picking up a red card in the 82nd minute on the 3rd of January 2016.
