WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS SNAP UP FOURTH NIGERIAN

English Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers now have four Nigerians on their payroll as they aim to gain promotion to the English Premier League

Wolves snapped up highly-rated 17-year-old full-back Hakeem Odofin from Barnet for a fee in the region of £100,000 have a significant sell-on clause should he move to another club for a larger fee.

Odofin is 6ft 3ins and predominantly a right full back but can also play at centre-back and he joins the likes of Carl Ikeme,Dominic Iorfa and Bright Enokhabare all of Nigerian descendants at the Molineux.

Described as very quick,strong defensively with a knack for joining the attack he joined Barnet in 2014 and has made significant progress since he has been at The Hive.

He has made two appearances for the first-team this season, starting in the FA Cup against Newport County and coming from the bench in a League Two match versus Northampton.
