Nigerian trialist Aniekpene Udoh and Usman Sale were both impressive for FK Viking helping the Norwegians to a 3-1 friendly victory over Vidar with Udoh scoring the game’s first goal.
Spotting Jersey number 52 the Nigeria U-23 player scored in the 42nd minute tapping into the net after a nice job from Stein Thor Thorsteinsson to give Vikings the lead.
Sale on his part picked up an assist after a forceful run from the middle released Mathias Bringaker who finished nicely to put Viking two goals up in the 65th minute after coming on as a substitute.
In the friendly game four Nigerians were on show for Viking with the already established names at the team Samuel Adegbenro and Suleiman Abdullahi coming on as substitute.
The duo will be hoping they have done enough to earn a deal with the team who currently have two Nigerians on their books in Samuel Adegbenro and Suleiman Abdullahi.
Adegbenro and Abdullahi were very impressive for Viking last season and they are reports circulating that St. Pauli failed with a bid for Abdullahi as Viking insist he is not for sale at least for now.
