Enugu Rangers are preparing for the start of the Nigeria Professional Football League with all seriousness to end their trophy drought as they have moved swiftly to capture four Togolese to beef up their squad.

Goalkepper Djehani Nguissan of Dyto Lome who has featured sparingly for the main National team of Togo leads defender Abdel Aziz Camara of Ange de Notse, defender cum midfielder Donou Kokou who played for Togo at CHAN 2013 and Striker Togaba Komlan who played in Malaysia to the Enugu based outfit.

The team now under the tutelage of coach Imama Amapakabo a former Nigeria youth international also picked 18 players after their screening exercise earlier in the year and they will be hoping to win their first title since 1984 next season to add to their trophy haul of six Nigeria top flight titles and 5 domestic cups.

On the Africa scene where they last appeared in 2013 crashing out in the group stage of the CAF Champions league they won the Africa cup winners cup in 1977.
