Hearts have signed striker Abiola Dauda after agreeing to sell top-scorer Osman Sow for a fee in excess of £1m to an as yet un-named club in China reuniting the Nigerian with his countryman Juwon Oshaniwa
Duada, 27, arrives on loan from Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem until the end of the season.
Abiola is a title-winner in Serbia and Sweden, with Kalmar and Red Star Belgrade respectively.
“He’s got pace, power and I’m sure he’ll score goals,” head coach Robbie Neilson told the Hearts website.
“The fans will see a top quality player who’s played at the top level in three European countries.
