23 year old Nigeria forward Friday Eze says he has his sight firmly focused on beating Asamoah Gyan record of 31 goals in the UAE, a record the Ghanian set in 2012/2013 season.

Eze joined Al-Fujairah of the UAE in the summer after emerging as the best player and top scorer in the Serbia league last season scoring 15 times for modest side Mladost Lucani and despite being heavily linked with a move to top teams in Europe he settled on a move to the UAE.

He has so far scored 7 times for Al-Fujairah from the 14 games he has played for the team but insist he has Asamoah Gyan’s record in his sight if not this season then probably next season.
