Nigeria youth international Mustapha Abdullahi played his first test game for the reserve team of Legia Warsaw coming on in the second half of their 2-1 victory over Warta Poznan.
He came on at the start of the second half alongside fellow trial its Dominik Bottcher and both played their part in ensuring Legia beat 10 man Warta Poznan with the 20 year old Nigerian holding his own down at the left full back role.
Abdullahi will still play two more games for the team in his bid to earn a contract with the high flying Polish team after his numerous failed attempts to take his career abroad,the latest been a 10 days trial with German second division side Arminia Bielefeld.
Known for his place,skills and ability to join the attack, he performed admirably well for Nigeria at the 2015 Africa U-20 championship in Senegal picking up three assist as Nigeria beat all comers to lift the tournament.
In the past he has had cause to train with Granada in Spain,Rennes in France,Standard Liege of Belgium,Portimonense of Portugal and Arminia Bielefeld of Germany searching for a professional contract abroad but to no avail.
