Owngoalnigeria.com has been exclusively informed that FC Porto youth teamer Chidozie Awaziem has put pen to paper on a four year professional deal with the Portuguese giants.
Awaziem who have been earning rare reviews for his performances with the table topping B team in the second division got his first call up to the main team last weekend although he sat out the entire game against Arouca which they lost 1-2 at home.
The agent who brokered the deal told owngoalnigeria.com that his nursery team El-Kanemi juniors of Jos have already received payments for his permanent transfer.
“His loan deal have been converted to a three year deal, it was done during the winter transfer window and his nursery team El-Kanemi juniors of Jos are already reaping the benefits of his transfer” He told owngoalnigeria.com on the condition of anonymity.
He becomes the third Nigerian on the club’s payroll with Chidera Ezeh also signing a permanent deal with the team this month while Mikel Agu who is in the team for two years now is presently out on loan with Club Brugge in Belgium.
