MFON UDOH OUT OF ENYIMBA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TIE

Glo Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enyimba will be without the services of Nigeria top league record goal scorer Mfon Udoh when they take on Vipers of Uganda on Friday in a preliminary CAF Champions league game at the Nakivubo Stadium.

Udoh who scored 23 goals two seasons ago to set a new record for goals scored in a single season in the Nigeria Premier League is presently injured and didn’t make the trip for the first leg preliminary game in Uganda.

Two time winners of the CAF Champions League, Enyimba arrived Uganda with a 35 man contingent and will later today have their first training session at the match venue where they are expected to perfect strategies ahead of the game.

Enyimba are bidding to reach the group stage of the CAF Champion League for the first time in three years after failing to do so at their last three attempts.
