Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel earned himself some well deserved apology from fans of Chelsea after scoring their only goal in the 2-1 loss to PSG in the UEFA Champions League.

Mikel gave a way a freekick from which Zlatan Ibrahimovic slammed home for PSG opener via a deflection from the 28 year old Nigerian.

Shortly after the goal went in fans started calling for the head of the Nigerian with most suggesting to the club to sell the Nigerian be sold outrightly after almost 10 years at the club.

However few minutes to the end of the half, Mikel drew Chelsea level and immediately forced same fans who have asked for his sale to send their apologies to the man whose goal wasn’t enough to earn Chelsea a victory.

Substitute Edinson Cavani struck in the second half to give PSG a 2-1 victory ahead of the second leg in a fortnight at Stamford bridge.
