Super Eagles and Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo put up a super showing for Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Liga helping them to a 2-1 win over Eskisehirspor.
Omeruo in his third loan spell since signing for English Premiership giants Chelsea was by far the best player for his team winning three tackles in a performance that will gladden the hearts of Super Eagles coaches.
He is expected to be among the players Nigeria will call up for the AFCON 2017 double header against Egypt and his recent form suggest he is battle ready for the Pharaohs.
So far he has made 16 appearances from a possible 22 games for 7th place Kasimpasa no thanks to his joining the team late and suspensions he picked up due to bookings.
22 year old Omeruo who might return to Chelsea in the summer has however had a poor disciplinary record this season picking up seven yellow cards that includes one in yesterday’s game.
