Uwa Elderson Echjiele : Looks steady, bumps forward when it is safe and he did most of the blockings for Monaco from attacks that came through his side nearly scored but hit the side net, agood game overall for the returning full back.
Leon Balogun: He was good even in defeat, his tackles were spot on and he won so many aerial battles, a nightmare for strikers of Hoffeinheim, He was the best defenders on parade for Mainz 05, a very hard nut to crack these days in the Bundesliga.
Kenneth Omeruo: He was huge against Eskiserhirspor won tackles and organized his other defenders very well, he was the leader for his team although he got a yellow card thru a rash challenge but his top notch defending was enough to earn Kasimpasa 3 points.
Wilfred Ndidi: He was good and steady, Very impressive with his passes, Had a long range effort with a weaker left foot like 3 times during the game,marked very well and he timed the direction of his headers properly to bail Genk out during danger.
Raheem Lawal: Man of the match performance from one of Nigeria’s best midfielder in Europe at the moment, he was d driving force for Osmanlispor cutting through the midfield of Mersin with reckless abanon, he capped his great performance with a textbook goal and a top notch pass to set up the equalizer after beating 4 players.
Umar Aminu: His work rate is tremendous , great engine and a technical player, He was busy chasing Mersin’s defenders all through the game, He set up Raheem Lawal to score Osmanlispor 3rd goal after quick exchange of passes, he will be a star for Nigeria at the Olympics if selected by the handlers of the team.
Alex Iwobi: So confident and calm for such a young age, he was d penetrating force for Arsenal through the middle. He was unlucky his shot grazed the post, His angled pass was also a beauty to behold.
Victor Moses: He gave an excellent performance and capped it with a goal, his direct approach was a delight to watch, tormented Blackburn Rovers’ defenders with ease, his performance was enough for him to be named in our team of the week.
Emmanuel Emenike: He scored 3 goals: 2 were legit and the last one was ruled for off side, he was confident and dangerous, his power was too much for Blackburn Rovers’ defenders to handle, a very good striker and still remain so.
