Fans of Manchester City and Chelsea are usually not the best of friends but their rivalry was taken to another level on twitter when Chelsea hammered Man City 5-1 in the FA Cup.

The bone of contention was not the scoreline rather it was about the talent of two upcoming teen from Africa who played on the opposite side, Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho of Man City and Burkina Faso’s Betrand Traore who plays for Chelsea.

Both players are having a breakaway season in Europe with Iheanacho already on 9 goals for Manchester City despite not been a regular and he boast of a goal per game ratio that is presently the best among strikers in England.

On his part Traore who has been a part of Chelsea’s pre season tour the last two years is finally proving his worth with three goals in his last five top flight game for the Blues.

Over the weekend after Traore scored in a game Iheanacho provided the only real spark for a youthful Man City team, fans of both teams took to twitter argue over their qualities and on who is a better prospect.

Chelsea fans in a series of tweet questioned the hype around Iheanacho believing that Traore has got a better future ahead of him than the Nigerian.

The comparism didn’t go down well with Manchester City fans as they fire back by calling Traore a player for comfortable games not one with a match winning ability like their teen prospect Iheanacho.

However in the coming years the debate about who is better will become clear between the 20 year old Traore and 19 year old Iheanacho.
