Top Italian scout Fabio Viviani who works for Serie A giants AC Milan will be in Nigeria on the 8th of March for the prestigious West Africa scouting programme tagged “Stage du Africa”.
Stage du Africa is a scouting programme done annually by top European scouts who comb West Africa for talents and this time thanks to the efforts of Ibrahim and Faisal Abdullahi it was extended to Nigeria.
Viviani according to Faisal will arrive Lagos on the 8th of March in the company of Ghana’s well renowned scout Raymond Owusu who is reportedly one of the most respected voices by European teams when it comes to talents from Africa.
“We have already gotten his (Viviani) visa, he will be in Nigeria on the 8th and conduct the first scouting programme for Lagos academies on the 9th before leaving for Kaduna on the 10th” He told owngoalnigeria.com.
“In Kaduna he will spend two days watching a tournament organised between youth teams based in Kaduna from where talents will be picked, we are grateful they decide to come to Nigeria”.
Viviani aside working for AC Milan is also a scout for fellow Serie A side Atalanta.
