Enyimba FC of Aba will be without the services of their top marksman Christian Obiazor against Vipers of Uganda after the forward failed to shake off the injury that has kept him out since the end of last season.

Obiazor is yet to return to training for the Elephants and missed Thursday’s training which rules him out of the tie with Vipers where they need at least two goals to progress to the next round of the CAF Champions League.

The forward known for his strength, pace and precision in front of goal will be sorely missed by Enyimba but the return of Mfon Udoh should give them some respite.

“He has not trained in the last one month and even today, he didn’t train, there’s is no chance of him playing on Sunday but we will cope” An Enyimba official told owngoalnigeria.com.

” His absence will be felt but Mfon Udoh is set to return he is fit now as a matter of fact he has been training since before we travelled for the first leg tie”.

Vipers of Uganda are carrying a slim 1-0 lead from the first leg tie played at their home ground a fortnight ago and they are expected in Nigeria on Friday.
