Interim coach of the Super Eagles Samson Siasia is expected to be in Kaduna on Saturday to inspect the Ahmadu Bello Stadium ahead of Nigeria’s March 25 clash against Egypt.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that the coach wants to see for himself the state of the playing surface at the stadium although it has already been given a pass mark by the Nigeria Football Federation when the body visited the stadium two weeks ago.
From owngoalnigeria.com checks at the stadium we can reveal that the grass on the pitch has grown tremendously from the last time the pitch was used for the Nigeria Premier League Super 4 championship.
The Stadium located at the bank of River Kaduna has also received a facelift with the paintings and fixing up of chairs at the VIP section as well as the upgrading of the dressing rooms.
The media gallery has also received attention as we found out that works are presently ongoing on the facility to make it better for both local and international journalist expected to be at the game.
