Erstwhile coach of the Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh who claimed he used his personal money to feed players of the home base Eagles of Nigeria during camping for CHAN 2016 has revealed invoice of payments to back his claims.
Three square meal paid for by the Nigeria Football Federation was regularly served by Protea hotel to the players but the coach who noticed how well the players were at home when eating the Nigerian meal at the Embassy placed order for them to be served dinner by a Nigeria restaurant in South Africa.
However in the invoice made available to owngoalnigeria.com issued by Delta Kitchen, a restaurant that serves Nigeria dishes Bobby Edo was the name on the account details section although it was directed to the Super Eagles coach.
The meal which cost Nigeria 5,500 rands per day to be served once every evening by 7pm was agreed on by the team management after the players had a taste of Nigeria meal during a visit to the Nigeria Embassy.
We discovered Oliseh’s team were well fed at Protea hotel where they were camped and not starved like the former Super Eagles manager claimed in his claims.
