Sfaxien of Tunisia secured a 3-1 win over Stade Tunisien with Nigeria midfielder Kingsley Sokari scoring their second goal.

Sokari struck in the 49th minute to put them two goals up after Ezechiel Ndouasel gave them a 45th minute lead and four minutes after Sokari’s goal Ali Maaloul.

Mohamed Cheikh Toure scored a late consolation for Stade Tunisien as Sfaxien courtesy of the victory moved one point close to league leaders Etoile du Sahel.

The goal was Sokari’s second in the league in his debut season for the team that also have Nigeria U-23 forward Junior Ajayi on their books.

Next season Sokari and Ajayi might be joined in the team by Nigeria U-17 World cup winner Lukman Zakari who recently signed a five year deal with the team.

Zakari is expected to arrive Sfaxien next week where he will join the B team until he completes 18 in December when he will be promoted to the main team.
