Lanky Nigeria forward Paul Onuachu found the back of the net for Midtylland but his strike wasn’t enough as they fell to a 2-1 loss to FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish top flight league.
The lank forward came to prominence when he scored the winner against Manchester United in the first leg of their Europa league tie, a shock 2-1 win over the English giants.
This time around he struck as early as the 4th minute but after Andre Roemer was sent off in the 36th minute, the home team seized the opportunity to draw level before finally sealing the victory.
21 year old Onuachu now has 3 goals in 13 games for the 5th place team in the Danish Superliga where he isn’t the only Nigerian on the club’s book.
His Nigerian counterpart Rilwan Hassan was on for the entire duration of the game as well but Babajide David wasn’t listed at all.
