Enyimba’s first choice shot stopper Theophilus Afelokai is in danger of being dropped ahead of Enyimba CAF Champions league clash against Vital’O of Burundi.

Afelokai has kept goal in their first round tie against Vipers of Uganda but reports from the team camp suggest he is about to be replaced by the fully recovered Joshua Enaholo.

Former Kano Pillars shotstopper, Afelokai was partly blamed for the goal Enyimba conceded in Uganda as he was beaten at the near post where he is covering throwing open the chance for Femi Thomas or Joshua Enaholo to upstage him as first choice.

Thomas is presently away with the national team, while Moses Ocheje is down the pecking order and owngoalnigeria.com gathered that in the last two training sessions Enaholo has been the one practicing with the possibles ahead of the game.
