In one of the games of the Vietnam V-League when Binh Duong hosted Song Lam Nghe An two Africans grabbed the headlines in the game that ended 1-2 in favour of Song Lam Nghe An.
Nigeria’s Odah Onoriode Marshall drew first blood for Song Lam Nghe An before his fellow African opponent Christian Amougou from Cameroun leveled scores for Binh Duong.
However Onoriode had the last laugh when he scored the winner for his team 15 minutes to the end of the game to gift his team all three points away from home.
The brace was the third goal the former Enugu Rangers forward has scored in four games since moving to Vietnam before the start of the V-League.
So far the 23 year old has only failed to score in games against Can Tho and Hai Phong.
In the game Nigeria born goalkepper Esele Nguyen Quoc Thien who now is now a naturalised citizen of Vietnam was on the bench for Binh Duong.
