Goals from Usman Mohammed and Joseph Osadiaye helped the Nigeria U-23s beat the Super Eagles 2-0 in a friendly game played yesterday.

In the short practice game, the U-23s who lost 2-0 to their senior counterparts on Tuesday went ahead through Enyimba forward Osadiaye before Usman Mohammed rounded up the scoring from the penalty spot.

Samson Siasia interim coach of the Super Eagles who also doubles as the coach of the U-23s handled the senior team while Fatai Amoo handled the Olympic team who are also in camp ahead of their friendly game against Brazil.

Both teams are presently made up of home based players with the foreign professional yet to arrive camp ahead of both teams respective games.

The Nigeria Super Eagles will take on Egypt in back to back games in the qualifying race for AFCON 2017 while U-23 as part of their preparations will take on Brazil in Rio de Janeiro in a friendly on the 24th of March.
