Newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League team Ikorodu United have beefed up their attack with the addition of a one time top scorer of the Nigeria Premier League.
Abubakar Ibrahim Baballe Abou who last turned out for Wikki Tourist owngoalnigeria.com can confirm will now defend the colours of the Lagos based outfit after completing his transfer to the team on a one year contract.
Abou in the past turned out for Wikki Tourist,Enugu Rangers,Akwa United and Sunshine Stars FC in the 2008 Nigeria Premier league he finished as top scorer in the league.
He suffered a serious knee injury after a malicious tackle from a defender of Heartland FC that ruined his chances of retaining the top scorer award.
12th placed Ikorodu FC have so far scored just two goals from their first four games of the season and they will be hoping he solve their scoring issues.
