The Flamingoes of Nigeria gave the South Africa U-17 team a lesson in female football by thrashing them 6-0 in a Women World Cup U-17 qualifiers played in Abuja.

It took less than two minutes for Nigeria to score the first goal with Fajobi Yetunde grabbing the opener for Nigeria before Rasheedat Ajibade stole the show.

Ajibade doubled Nigeria’s tally in the 26th minute added another in the 29th minute after a howler from South Africa goalkepper before scoring three minutes later to complete her hattrick.

However she was don’t yet as four minutes to the half time break she added another before Yetunde scored the sixth for Nigeria to send them 6-0 up going into the half time break.

The Flamingoes wasted several opportunities to score more goals in the second half with Ajibade rounding the goalkepper but failing to hit target same too Yetunde as the South Africa female team return back to Johannesburg with a 6-0 deficit.
