NASSARAWA UNITED TO DEPART NIGERIA FOR ALGERIA TONIGHT

Nigeria CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Nassarawa United will tonight depart the shores of Nigeria for Algeria ahead of their return leg tie against CS Constantine.

Nassarawa United are holding a slim 1-0 lead from the first leg tie played in Abuja but team midfielder Thomas Zenke is optimistic they can survive the onslaught of the Algerians and qualify for the next round.

“We are not scared all we pray for is fair officiating like we got in Senegal when we played there, we are a team of champions we are not scared of any team” He told owngoalnigeria.com.

A team of 35 comprising of players and officials will leave Nigeria via Abuja by 7pm Nigeria time and they will ahead Algeria tomorrow ahead of their encounter which will be played on Friday.
