Fast rising Nigeria football agent Babawo Mohammed brought the football loving populace of Abuja to a standstill bringing in scouts from Portugal,England and France for a scouting tournament.
The tournament organised annually by Gee-Lec Soccer Academy had in attendance scouts from Portuguese side FC Porto,English Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur and French Ligue 1 giants Monaco.
Babawo Mohammed who facilitated the coming of the agents told owngoalnigeria.com that he hope the scout pick top talents like last year when they picked eight players with Chidozie Awaziem the most famous now.
“We have scouts from Tottenham Hotspur,Monaco and three from Portugal working for different top teams which includes that of FC Porto and one from Spain” Babawo told Owngoalnigeria.com.
“The aim is to give the youngsters a platform to be identified as not all of them can be spotted from major tournaments abroad or afford the cost of traveling for trials.
“From here am hoping they will pick some of this youngster and give them a career lifeline am even hoping they pick more than last year where eight players were picked”.
