Coach of the Nigeria U-17 team Manu Garba who gave FC Porto youth teamer Chidera Ezeh his breakthrough at the WYC in 2013 says the 18 year old has all it takes to succeed at the Estadio do Dragao.
“He has all it takes to thrive in Europe, pace, skills and goal scoring abilities, he will definitely make hay at FC Porto, am not surprise he is already doing well” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.
“In a not too distant future FC Porto will know they made a bargain the day they signed him”.
Ezeh a member of Nigeria U-17 winning team of 2013 was also at the U-20 World cup two years later in New Zealand but didn’t get to play as Nigeria crash out of the championship in the round of 16 after a 1-0 loss to Germany.
He recently signed professional terms with FC Porto which ties him to the club for the next five years and so far he has one goal from the three games he has played for the U-19.
He is one of four young Nigerians on the club’s book with the duo of Mikel Agu and Fidelis Irhene presently out on loan to Club Brugge and Portimonense respectively while Chidozie Awaziem is thriving with the first team.
