Celtic of Scotland central defender Efe Ambrose breezed into the camp of the Super Eagles some few hours ago ahead of Nigeria’s clash against Egypt.

His arrival will boost the team morale going into the double tie against Egypt scheduled for the 25th and 29th of March in Kaduna and Alexandria respectively.

Ambrose arrived the team camp on Monday night from his base in Scotland and we exclusively gathered that flight hitches made him late to the camp of the team.

He has been out of favour of late but with injuries to Super Eagles defenders Leon Balogun and Kenneth Omeruo he is looking like a sure bet to start against the Egyptian in the city of his birth Kaduna on Friday.

A versatile defender he can play anywhere across the back four and his versatility was first discovered by the interim coach of the Super Eagles Samson Siasia who played him in a number of positions when they worked together at the U-23 level and later in the Super Eagles
