The governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai has paid for all of the tickets for today’s game between Nigeria and Egypt at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
Owngoalnigeria.com yesterday dropped hint about the gates being thrown open and this morning the confirmation was made by the Kaduna State Football Association (KSFA).
However fans will still have to be in possession of match day tickets before gaining entrance as part of the security measures put up by the state government to that effect pick up points for the free ticket was announced as well.
As part of the measures put in place only those with valid match tickets will be allowed around the stadium vicinity for the game that is schedule to kick off by 5pm Nigeria team.
A capacity crowd of 25,000 is expected to be at the arena for the game that will go a long way in determining who finish as group leaders with Egypt currently leading Nigeria by two points.
