According to Abubakar Haruna Gurugu a disable fan of the Super Eagles Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel and Watford star Odion Ighalo have both promise to foot his bill for him to have treatments.

“Abu Gurugu” as he is fondly called was struck by Polio at a very young age and despite not being able to use his legs still date he still didn’t lost his love for the Nigeria senior national team.

Video footage of Mikel and the teen disable fan chatting on the stadium track went after Nigeria’s game against Egypt went viral on social media and the excited disabled who crawled his way into the heart of the players of the Super Eagles appears to have gotten a solution to cure his disability.

Against all odds he crawled his way into the over 40,000 crowd at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium not minding if he gets trampled upon and watched the entire game on Friday.

The 11 year old told owngoalnigeria.com in a chat that Mikel and Odion Ighalo have made contact with his guardian regarding his treatment.

“I spoke with Mikel for three days before the game he promised me they will beat Egypt so after the game I went to ask him what went wrong and he explained to me, I felt like crying” He told owngoalnigeria.com.

“Mikel is so humble and nice he speaks Hausa fluently and him and Ighalo have made contact with my family to see how they can help me get better treatment please help me pray for Allah to continue to bless and guard them” He concluded.
