Players of the Super Eagles have reacted to the withdrawal of Group G rivals Chad from the AFCON 2017 qualifiers which leaves them with just two points.

The players gave their reactions to owngoalnigeria.com earlier today unanimously agreeing to the fact that they are left with no margin for error in the game against Egypt.

Ifeanyi Matthew: “Honestly the news came to me as a shock but I believe there’s very little we can do about it all we have to do is turn up and beat Egypt in Alexandria, it’s a task we can accomplish’

Shehu Abdullahi: “Insha Allah we will get the result we need in Egypt with all due respect to them Chad pulling out has left us with no choice than to win them in Egypt which is achievable”
