Super Eagles World cup 2014 forward Babatunde Michael and his Nigerian colleague Osaguona Ighodaro at Raja Casablanca were both on target to help third place Raja keep the pressure on the league leaders.
Raja needed to win their game against Moghreb Tetouan to keep their title hope alive and with scores at 2-0 Babatunde Michael made it three before Osaguona put the game to bed with their fourth to kill off the host who have pulled scores back to 2-3.
They hanged on to edge the seven goals thriller 2-5 and move to 37 points one behind second place team FUS Rabat but four point behind the leaders Wydad who have played a game less.
Osaguona back at Raja Casablanca after leaving the team following a pay dispute is making up for lost time with splendid performances while Babatunde Michael is in Morocco rebuilding his career after his move from Volyn to Dnipro ended in a fiasco.
Both players have so far been pivotal to Raja staying in touch with the league leaders.
