No fewer than four Chinese Super League team want West Ham United on loan forward Emmanuel Emenike when his loan comes to an end in the summer.
Yesterday West Ham United announced they won’t be making his loan deal permanent in the summer and the striker who spent the first six months of this season on loan in the UAE will move to China although it depends on his parent owners Fenerbache.
“Emenike will definitely move to China in the summer unless Fenerbache have a late change of heart, it’s unfortunate it didn’t work out as planned for him in England bu such is life” a close confidant of the player told Owngoalnigeria.com.
“He truly want to stay in England but so far there has been no offer for his services aside that two other teams from the Gulf area where he was on loan at Al-Ain are on his trail but China is his surest destination for now”.
He was brought in as cover by the team due to injuries to their regular forward but he failed to make use of the opportunities he was given in their absence.
At West Ham Emenike has failed to push his case for his loan deal to be turned into a permanent deal with only two goals both in the Cup game against Blackburn Rovers from the nine games he has played in all competition.
